Grand Reopening of 8 Robinson: A Fusion of Heritage and Modernity

We are proud to announce the grand reopening of 8 Robinson, an iconic 16-storey office building in Singapore’s Central Business District, where Qing Feng Construction served as the main contractor. Managed by Kiri Capital, founded by Philip Sohmen, grandson of the late Hong Kong shipping magnate Sir YK Pao, this project exemplifies a harmonious blend of historical inspiration and contemporary design.

Designed by Singapore-based ID Architects (IDA), 8 Robinson is conceptualized as “vertically stacked shophouses,” featuring eight exclusive duplex office suites ranging from 2,300 to 4,510 square feet. This innovative design pays homage to the area’s rich heritage, where traditional shophouses once stood, while catering to modern business needs.

Strategically located at 8 Robinson Road, the building offers unparalleled convenience, with proximity to six MRT lines and a bus stop at its doorstep. Tenants benefit from Grade A office specifications, GreenMark GoldPlus certification, and amenities such as a Jewel Box Café with excellent frontage.

The reopening of 8 Robinson marks a significant milestone in Singapore’s architectural landscape, reflecting a seamless integration of the city’s historical essence with forward-thinking design. We extend our gratitude to all partners and stakeholders involved in bringing this vision to fruition.
